The Art of Romantic Comedy tour held in the Australian Technology Park in Sydney and the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in Melbourne attracted some top flight Australian artists and keen students to listen, take notes and be inspired by the combined insights into writing a successful RomCom of LA based screenwriting masters, Michael Hauge and Steve Kaplan.

AUSTRALIAN WRITERS GUILD

Every first Tuesday of the month (except November when the Melbourne Cup forces us onto the 2nd Tuesday) - we have informal members meetings where industry luminaries come and chat with our members. These meetings are open to non members at a small additional charge.

Next month we have the legendary John Clarke. In August Tony Morphett (one of this country's most prolific and important TV writers) will be with us. In September English writer, creator of Cold Feet, Mike Bulleen will be showing us a recently completed BBC pilot and talking about the process. In October Nadia Tass and David Parker will be talking about their illustrious careers and their new film. And in November Simon Wincer has agreed to speak.
